Koryx Copper Inc. is a Canadian copper development company focused on advancing the 100% owned, PEA-stage Haib Copper Project in Namibia whilst also building a portfolio of copper exploration licenses in Zambia. Haib is a large and advanced copper/molybdenum porphyry deposit in southern Namibia. The Haib Copper project, Exploration and Prospecting License 3140, is held by Haib Minerals (PTY) Ltd, a Namibian corporation fully held by the Company. It holds the option to acquire up to 80% of three large scale exploration licenses in the copper belt in Zambia. The licenses include Luanshya West project (LEL 23247), Chililabombwe project (LEL 23247), and Mpongwe project (LEL 23248). The licenses cover about 752 square kilometers in the Central African Copper belt. LEL 23247 is situated in the center of the Zambian Copper belt, which forms part of the Central African Copper belt. The three licenses sits on the same side of the Copperbelt, which hosts nine large copper mines.

PROJECTS IN ZAMBIA NEAR DEEP SOUTH RESOURCES
LARGE TARGETS UNDER 6KM COPPER STRIKE AT LUANSHYA
Castillo Copper Limited (“CCZ”) is pleased to announce that multiple targets for test-drilling have been identified at the Luanshya Project in Zambia’s copper-belt, following the completion of eight IP survey lines.

PROSPECTIVE COPPER REGION
The Luanshya Project is located in Zambia’s traditional copper-belt, a globally known region that houses numerous copper deposits and operating mines. Moreover, the Luanshya Project is located ~6-10km south of China Nonferrous Mining Corp’s (CNMC) three operating mines, with combined JORC (2012) compliant Proven & Probable Reserves of 52.3mt @ 1.26% Cu (3). Of significance, the Luanshya Project is on the same NW-SE trendline, which is ~5-10km wide, that hosts two of CNMC’s operating copper mines (3)

Chililabombwe has 16 mines.

The primary producing mine is Konkola Copper Mines. Konkola Copper Mine is one of Africa's largest copper producers, owned by Vedanta Resources Limited. Prior to privatization efforts in 2000, the mine was owned by ZCCM, a Zambian copper mining conglomerate.

The Konkola resources / reserves are estimated @ 508MT @2.20% Cu and those of the next door neigbour, Lubambe, are estimated to 343MT @ 3.20% Cu.
The annual production rate of both copper mines is 136,000MT

New copper deposits have been discovered in Masaiti and Mpongwe on the copperbelt.
Copperbelt Province Permanent Secretary, Jennifer Musonda disclosed this in Ndola.
Mrs. Musonda said there are currently increasing explorations and mineral surveys in all the towns in the province.
She said this when Science and Technology Permanent Secretary, Bullet Nsemukila who is on a tour of learning institutions under his ministry, called on her.
Mrs. Musonda said the economy on the copperbelt looks set for growth following enhanced diversification programmes.
