An investor's observation on another bullboard:

"It is interesting to see that if one looks at the TSX Venture chart going back to 2007, the exchange is down about 75% since then.  In otherwords it has been in a decline for well over a decade.  All major exchanges in North America will show a positive increase over that timeframe.  So it begs the question, how much of this is due to when the tick test or uptick rule was removed by the regulators (in 2007) which provided some protection against predatory short-selling.  

Yes, it will definitely be nice to get off this exchange.  It won't necessarily change the current share price in this current market climate, but I would think recovery of stocks in general will recover better over time on the TSX vs the Venture.  Clearly things don't recover on the venture when you have an exchange that continues to be in decline for over a decade."
