If it looks like a short-and-distort......it's time to report. I have no problem whatsoever with short selling, if a company has indeed made some bad decisions, and will likely lose stock-price value, or even go out of business because of their poor choices. A smart short play can be extremely lucrative all on its own, without bashing --bashing for the sole purpose of bringing down the SP of any company whether they've made poor choices or not is a sign of ignorance and shows the ability to make wise short bets.
Datametrex would be a terrible short play IMO, even in a bear market. Marshall Gunter delivers on his promises virtually all the time, and there's much more good stuff on the horizon, from what this topnotch CEO says, and from what anyone can glean from some good oldfashioned Due Diligence. Short and distort is different from expressing logical negative viewpoints; it's blatant slander and it's 100-percent illegal.
Informed investors can't stand when short sellers post false statements or splash endless BS around stock forums, in an attempt to scare new or inadequatly informed investors into selling shares of a perfectly good company, in turn, attempting to bring down the stock price. The people spreading such lies should at the very least be removed from the forums that they are polluting. If you believe anyone is engaging in this type of activity, simply report them to the forum in question. The more people report these trouble makers, the better.
The Datametrex SH board is normally a source of interesting brainstorming, but lately it's getting clogged with senseless negative posts, written by those lacking credibility and facts to back their statements. If these people are simply angry with a decreasing stock price (in a downward market, no less, when basically ALL stocks are down temporarily) they should know better than to slander the company, which can only harm the price further, if new investors are influenced to sell by the nonsense they are reading here. That type of bad behaviour is often displayed by freaked out short sellers, who could lose an infinite amount of money, if the stock bolts upward causing a short squeeze, which could happen to DM shorts any time now with the right news release or two, unless they cover their positions in time. Usually, if angry nonsensical posts "smell" like short-sellers "sweat", that's what they are.
To new Datametrex investors: Datametrex holds Discord meetings online on the first Tues of each month (the next one is tomorrow, July 5th, if CEO Marshall Gunter doesn't have to reschedule it). Past Discords are available on YouTube, and are one more great source of DD.
