RE:Up or DownHard to say what the market reaction will be but I suspect the initial reaction will be positive.
That said, I do find the way this is being handled by the company somewhat peculiar. Normally unless is a scandal or criminal activities, the current CEO stays on until a replacement is found or at least stays on for a number of months. As well, even if the CEO is pushed there is usually some lame statement that the CEO is living for personal or family or health reasons. Nada here and the resignation is immediate.
Further the press release statement about Kris is peculiar. He has the full confidence of the Board to be interim CEO. Huh?
Yep I agree there has to more to this story.
