im sorry your investment in Aleafia didn't work out.  As a distressed debenture buyer - I was certainly interested in the outsized yield on their notes during the initial lockdown. It soon became apparent that they were mismanaged with an outsized CEO and minimal insider ownership.

They continue to swirl the drain with limited liquidity.

Compare and contrast with a successful debt for equity transition here at IBI group.  Huge insider ownership, fiscal discipline and attention to the capital structure helped everyone "get the win".
