Given all the possible candidates known and yet-to-be-known in the US, Trump is your "go to" guy for president. Really? You can't possibly think any better candidate then a guy who totalled over 30 500 confirmed lies in four years while serving as president, who spent 298 days on the golf course at an estimated expense of $144 million to the taxpayer or a man who added $7.8 trillion to the total debt, more than any president in history. He had burdened more than a generation of American kids and grandkids with a debt that will weigh on the ecomony for years to come? No surprise there, after all Trump is the "King of Debt". And we didn't even add in his authoritarian tendencies that led to an insurrection at the Capital building.
We all know that your entire world view is based on conspiracy sites and that you're in capable or inflexible to listening to anything that contradicts your personal world view or narrative, but just out of curiousity have you not watched or listened to ANY of the Jan. 6 hearings?
And before you start ranting about it being a Democratic political witchhunt and using Foxnews talking points and those from your X22 report, keep in mind that this entire hearing has relied almost exclusively on testimony from
replublicans,
conservatives and
members in Trump's inner circle (i.e. White House and Trump lawyers, White House aides, Trump family members, the former DOJ, White House Chief of staff, etc...) all under oath. So how is this a democratic witch hunt when the panel is simply relaying the words, text messages and recordings of the very people who were involved in the lies and the crime. You can see the evidence for yourself, if you were to step out of your bubble and actually watch and listen. As a so called "Patriot", don't you have a duty to hear this information first hand and not through the opinions of others?
I find it interesting that the very people involved in the lie and the crimes can say under oath and in front of a camera that the election
wasn't stolen, that they was
absolutely no evidence of this and the whole thing
was a lie, yet the people who followed the lie and have absolutely no inside involvement whatsoever can't accept it what they are hearing (i.e. if they are actually watching it) and will continue to believe it blindly. It's amazing how the monster takes on a life of it's own even after the people who created it have killed the truth of it's existence.
People like Rabiger and so many others like him are trying to evade the distress of experiencing cognitive dissonance. Basically out of sight (and hearing); out of mind. What is cognitive dissonance?
This incompatibility (dissonance) could happen when you do something that goes against a value that’s important to you. Or maybe you learn a new piece of information that disagrees with a long-standing belief or opinion. So they evade watching the hearings or listening to anything that could possible challenge their current long-held views. It distresses them, because their world will no longer make sense. There's a sense of feeling foolish, it can be an embarrassing experience to admit wrong, especially when they fall so far down the rabbit hole of lies and believed it all. So generally people will bargin their way out of it and find ways to reconcile the distressing new information with their current views and beliefs. The excuses are always fun to hear.
