  • Something doesn't add up.......
  • Panasqueira was the only producing mine last year.
  • Panasqueira made $20.8M in revenue.  If the selling price of an MTU was $270, then that would mean only 770 tonnes of tungsten was mined. If the selling price was $300 per MTU, then 693 tonnes was mined.
  • According to LB comment in the Mining Journal, almost 1,000 tonnes is mined at Panasqueira ( I am using 900 tonnes in my calculation).  If that is the case, 900 tonnes would be sold at $231/MTU.

  • But still I can't figure out how Sangdong is going to produce 300% more.  The only way to make the numbers fit is if Panasqueira produced 400 tonnes last year at a price of $520/MTU but that is highly unlikely.
  • LB should provide more clarity around this.  If Sangdong is going to produce in excess of 1,200 tonnes.... AWESOME.

  • But if we look at this from another perspective, how can the Flagship Mine Sangdong only produce 200 tonnes more than Panasqueira?
  • In that case, Sangdong should be producing 2,700 tonnes at least and not the 1,200 that was originally planned.
  • LB, are you saving a big surprise for Shareholders. Please provide clarity?
