Most of us have UEX, not UEXCF. I am concerned about the implications (tax and otherwise) of owning a canadian stock and after the purchase, owning a US stock. If anyone is familiar with this kind of merger/buyout, please comment. Some people don't have access to US accounts (although I suspect most do). What's the implication on them?
You don't need no us account to purchase or sell UEC, you can add it to your existing Canadian account in your portfolio, use cdn $ to buy UEC based on the exchange rate that day, stop making things up or invent criteria that is not there to hinder you from adding UEC to your portfolio & completing UEC transaction using cdn $.
I am not making up criteria. I am trying to understand the implication of transfering ownership between Canadian and US jurusdictions. I suppose people comment without really answering the question. Thanks though for your input.
