But everyone else, why not grow it yourself? I used to live in a condo that had a local condo "by-law" that had been voted on a by a majority of the condo owners, banning pot grows, and when you buy a condo, you agree to be governed by the condo rules. You really can't argue about your right to grow pot being infringed by the condo rules. But that was then, and now I live out in the country. I bought a pack of 5 seeds off the OCS, and all 5 have developed into some serious plants. I'm going to wind up with several pounds of dope for $50.

Cannabis stocks and retail outlets are NOT a wise investment.
its not the condo rules that bother me - lots of people grow plants on their balcony - and we are legally allowed to grow 4 - its the spider mites - so far this year no mites visible yet - but they have a habit of showing up by september and ruining the plants. Never had this problem growing outdoors in the ground - I think because nature kills the bad bugs - outdoors you get problems with powdery mildew, cross pollination from neighbours and theft around harvest time. I gave up growing indoors - too expensive - too much work - too much heat - and pests can wipe out your indoor grow. So for those reasons I don't think commercial grows have much to worry about from home growers, and large illegal grows are getting busted all the time - and smaller licensed craft grows have to charge a premium for their flower
