Obsidian Energy Ltd. is a Canada-based exploration and production company. The Viking is a light oil, horizontal development play located in central Alberta. Its operations are focused on the Esther area. Peace River is a stable, cold-flow, base production asset. It operates on a contiguous and an acreage within the heart of the Peace River Oilsands region.

Lots of effort put into your analysis, JJB--you may want to recheck the comparable dates for your debt calculations, however, since the company says they lowered debt by $57.2MM in 6 months. This amount to a (still terrific) >$300K/d lowering of debt, but less than what you show. Perhaps you used the year ago comparable instead of the prior quarter.
