RE:Values Might have been a little quick here - just scanned eldorado, Kinross & Img & looks like trading way below book value is not that uncommon.
Now all 3 of those larger miners are all in bad spots right now based on their various properties , so may not be the best comparable peer group.

now book values are sometimes dicy when the underlying commodity is depreciating, but to be trading at an 80% discount to book value suggests this may well be undervalued right now.
The sudden drop in gold & the unwinding by a large holder(s) seems to have resaulted in an undershooting of value for this stock.
