Take over

Take overOn June 6th, i wrote on the RFP and on the CFP board that something was going on with
Resolut forest. At that time i was guessing that it could be Canfor.

I was wrong on the buyer but Resolut did get takenout.

Now what i find strange is the way Canfor is using it's NCIB.If you look at their pouchases, they were
buying EVERY SINGLE DAY for about 1.14 million$ and then completely stop after June 30th.

They paid higher price in May and June then the actual SP.

My question is are these guys at Canfor that dumb?.Who knows, some poster thinks so.

But it may be that they are in negociation for a big deal and are keeping all their cash.

Time will tell but IFP would be a great fit for Canfor.

Let's not forget that Interfor does not have any major controlling investor. The biggest shareholder is Pictet with 6.4%

WFG bought Norbord.Who is the majority shareholder of WFG:Jimmy with 9%
and Jimmy is the controlling investor of Canfor with 51%

These deals take weeks if not months.

I am quit confided that IFP will be taken out before year end if the SP stays that low.

Housing price that is coming down is a good thing. There is a huge lack of housing in Canada
and in the USA. and lumber producers knows that

Houses will have to be build big time over the next 5 years. This cycle is not over yet.

Yes, it is temporarely being slowed down by higher interest but it will eventually need
to go back up again.
