You would think that rather than seeing the selloff that we've had in terms of NA energy companies (in recent weeks) there would instead have been a move towards locking up investments in the most secure O&G deposits on the planet. The decline of CVE stocks from 31 down to 20 bucks was ridiculous and completely unwarranted.
But again, who do you talk logic to when the President of the USA tells his minions that he's going to
" fix" the energy crisis by meeting with "solar experts" while he continues to thumb his nose at American and Canadian energy producers. There's only one way that people will learn their lesson and that's when inevitably we start so see lineups at the pump. No logic will prevail until then.
