I remember Boehner and Mulroney getting $13 million to have a spot on the board and for the company to use their names.
Timing is terrible and sense of entitlement is outrageous but I believe that Acreage is doing better than Canopy and they didn't grab up $40 million worth of stock like Klein did.
If this kind of sloppin' at the trough continues, I would like to see it as options at a premium to be held in escrow so they can't be dumped en masse and hurt the shareprice.
Not that the shareprice of Acreage could be hurt anymore.
Or they could take that money and get some awareness and promotion people on board to generate some interest.
The guys at the top always feed first! It ain't fair but that is the way it is!
$1.89 (3shares) worth of Acreage fixed gets you $2.61 at today's shareprice and $1 worth of floating shares gets you over $6, all US dollars subject to a triggering event that is getting run by US politicians again this week.
Maybe 8 times will be the charm for something positive to come out of the Senate!
