Spectral Medical Inc. is a Canada-based late-stage theragnostic company advancing therapeutic options for sepsis and septic shock. The Company develops and commercializes a treatment for septic shock utilizing its Endotoxin Activity Assay (EAA) diagnostic and the Toraymyxin therapeutic (PMX). Spectral isn't "on the verge of proving their case" , they have already proven it.

They received the very, very, very rare "Breakthrough Designation" from the FDA.

MM I can't find anyone anywhere that received a BTD and didn't land an approval, in our case it will be very shortly thereafter.
