Enbridge Inc. is an energy transportation and distribution company. The Company operates through five business segments: Liquids Pipelines, Gas Transmission and Midstream, Gas Distribution and Storage, Renewable Power Generation, and Energy Services. That is why Enbridge is going to use solar to make their Ingelside export facility carbon neutral. My undertsanding is they will create enough power to not only power their facility only using 1/tenth of the installed power but sell the othe 90% of the power generated to local inustries.

Plan to build up to 60MW of solar power – 6MW of terminal self-power requirements – Potential to contract excess power to local industry.
