Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. Do not worry.  Life is too short to worry about "stuff" over which we have no control.

At the end of the day Russia will produce oil and sell it to China and India (and a few others).  They will get whatever price they agree upon with each other.

That does NOT affect overall worldwide oil production or oil demand.  For the foreseable future, even with a mild recession, there is not enough oil to supply everyone who wants and needs oil.

Price will remain firm - with wide fluctuations of course.

Keep looking at the big picture, over the next few years. Forget hourly, daily or weekly fluctuations.  Price will hold at US$100+ on average and profits and dividends will soar. 

Some companies will do better than others so diversification is a must.
