Holiday time2nd Q results on August 11th. With higher enegry prices being the norm, expectations for higher gross revenes than last year's Q.
2Q estimates from analysts for earnings are for 10.7 cents per share.
This is an industry where it takes years for a project to move form concept to commercial production. ----Reading some news, there are projects coming on stream now with 8MW turbines. Say what? This is because 4 years ago 8 MW was considered the maximum. Developers can't change in midstream to build larger turbines.
But now 14-15MW is the norm when planning for future windfarms.
Would be nice to see Northland develop a new Canadian project. Mega size for the economics. 100-200MW windfarms are nice, but economies of scale have become important which contribute to the bottom line.
