Likely why GSFC was in support of a 100,000 ton proof of concept sylvite mine in early 2018, as it could have produced much needed revenue while crunching the Wynyard carnalitte numbers.
If someone with deep pockets came along and wanted to produce magnesium from the waste brine, I am very certain GSFC would sell that waste brine to the interested party and in doing so, cutting OPEX costs substantially.
Would be nice to see the company build a dual well pilot mine to compare data with the 2016 single well cavern testing results. At some point they are going to have to prove the downhole process is economically viable in Saskatchewan, before the big money rolls in..............................
