Long talk with MarkGood Morning all,
Had a long phone call with Mark. Very long answer to simple question. Things I learned you all might be interested in.
RSX: Uses heat, cooling and pressure in the columns to get to equal reaction. I did not know this. Can't remember reading it in anywhere. The parts are ordered and mostly recieved to upgrade the system. So the commissioning might be closer to Oct then Dec this years. Mark, seam to think that engineering stall would have no trouble putting the Demo plant together. Yes, Pip I ask about IMC guys and they are on call until this Nov. So upgrade should be smooth sailing. The testing showed two or three new ways to improve the system. Mark was unsure how much element was left in solution by RSX. So we don't know if it is more, less of equal to SX. But I would like to know.
Bokan: The summer program got the sample tonnage that they wanted. Now it is filling it in and replanting. The road and power lines the state of Alaska was talking about running out to the mine site got no where. Lot of talk but no buldoser making roads or putting up power lines. So all access to mine is by barge and boat. Little harbor/breakwater might be enlarged.
Lots of interest in RSX by miners and end users company. Even a scandium miner. RSX removes that in the first pass but they would have to add columns to strip it out of the group it is in. Pip was right Ucore in talks with more than one end user about off take agreement. Got the sense that funding would be no problem. And Yes every thing triggers of the Demo plant comissioning.
Offline for a while. Having surgery this morning to fix shoulder.
Have a great day
