RE:RE:Too funny Ird news always make the share price Windsor, most peers and near peers have experienced a similar decline on news. I think the market is sending a strong signal that it want to see evidence that infrastructure business can be profitable. If IRD/ETC can show that, they not only stand to reap the rewards of Biden's infrastructure package and a higher mutiple, but also on existing contracts. In the past 2 years. IRD/ETC have been awarded contracts with an initial face value of ~USD $485M
I agree that a stateside major exchange listing is imperative in the medium term (it is imperative rather than important as virtually all the business will be USA-based in the next couple of years) and I also agree that it won't happen until Wilan is divested. If QTRH goes solo on the listing it needs to be accompanied by reasonable analyst coverage as much of teh current crop of Canadian analysts are tired. To that I'll add that a merger with an existing pubic company, or acquisition, is not off my radar screen.
Over the next three weeks, I'm looking for at least one more significant contract award: I expect meaningful color on the Wilan sale at the Q2 results; and I hope that there is evidence of improved marging management in the Q2 results. Anything else will be bonus.
