ALLEN...

ALLEN...I'd say you know nothing about - HYDROGEN.
One of the easiest businesses to get into.

The former post labelled - magnesium + copper
Has some promising tech.

Hydrogen as we speak... is being blended with Nat Gas.
I'd say they'vew been doing it for sometime now...
I noticed few years back the btu punch value was not quite as it once was....
Most likely dueto the removal of - carbon which added the extra btu's upon combustion.
Now adays... gas heating has a cool warm btu - not as it once was.
But... hydrogen gas is better for the - atmosphere.

Cow licks ?
Guess that post was not meant for you.
Ifyou didn't understandit - then... you weren't suppose to understand it.
But i'm sure a few others did.

Allen's post quote -
Now that is a near term future we can use as soon as posible.  This tech will enable the use of electric cars which we have in production now.  The targets for, no fosil fuel, cars is near and maybe can be met.

reply - you sir have not a clue what hydrogne is...
It's a derivative of nat gas...lol
sharpen you're pencil.

Now electric cars have limitations and will not work for everyone.  The fuel of choice is Propane or natural gas used in hybred vehicles.  Both are low Carbon fuels when compared to Diesel and gasoline.

reply -
better stock your nose in some books...
you've a lot to learn.
hydroen fuel cells ( for vehicles ) are now onscene.
nat gas and propane are loaded with - carbons.
Switching up from gasoline to ( nat or propane ) will not reduce co2.
Hydrogen fuel cars - will.

Your Hydrogen fuel is expensive, way out in the future (30 yeasrs by your posts) and not investable.  YOU Sir are in LA LA LAND.

reply -
you sir have bought into ( steam reformation )
this sort of gas impartation is... very expensive.

But... the industry has to bow to the gas + oil companies = include them into the hydrogen economy. Gottta make use of that distillation / reformation infastructure.

Hence.. .most likely where the carbon capture was devised.
Gas and oil companies have the reformation infastructure - perhapsthe only ace card inwhichkeeps them in the game for - hydrogen prodcution.

Thing is... other formats are proving less costly and without the need for carbon capture.
My hunch says... these new formats will give the gas and oil companies a run for thier monies. Eyes should be focused on the - techs - and specific minerals such as Mg - for use in hybrid formulations that excell beyond steam reformation.

Cheers....

Get to reading Allen...
You'd be surprized how hydrogen has scaled the ranks and become a still contender.
No carbon advantage.
