RE:BOMBARDIER CONTINUES TO FASCINATEStar
I mentioned yesterday that the volume for the period during the recent takedown was 1/3 of the volume when the stock moved markedly higher to 3.27 or so.
With the ease that canada markets have in using in essence naked shorting aside from regular shorting it is my contention also that it is very easily manipulated for all kinds of reasons

So what's going on with the trading in the stock? At surface value, some people might be inclined to suggest there is some unknown problem (on the way down), or clear blue sky (on the way up). But this stock is trading in quite a unique fashion. Significant moves, up or down, on very little volume. The most telling actually was yesterday, down significantly in the morning on no volume, then a hard bounce up, and then another push down, again on very little volume.
While I still haven't been able to trace the moves, from what I can see I would suggest that the stock IS absolutely being manipulated, and for the purposes of grooming. This is a process where larger institutional positions are wanted, and they have the clout to move the stock around at wll. So they take it down, shake out loose shares, and then vacuum up starting at the bottom of the push down. Rinse and repeat the process as needed. And when they have the shares they want, they take the lid off and actually run the stock.
To many investors, especially given the severity of the push, it can be very frustrating. But I would suggest taking a step back from the emotions, and see it for what it is, which I actually think is a positive. Grooming almost always leads to a strong run. It's just the Bigs doing their thing, because they can.
So where are we in the grooming process? That's always hard to say, but this grooming started in earnest PRIOR to the upcoming quarter. And from everything I can glean, this quarter will actually be significanly better than expected, and more importantly, provide strong and clear guidance to a good and profitable path forward. So it makes absolute sense that this grooming has been taking place the past month, in the otherwise quiet leadup to the quarter.
But here now the quarter is almost upon us, and I would expect now some anticipation buying to start coming in. We're close enough for that to happen. And this would also time in well with the grooming process that has taken place over the past month. So is the grooming phase done? If I had to bet, I would bet yes. The clues are there to show the grooming that has taken place, and the timing is almost perfect. Of course, we'll have to wait to see the confirmation of this, but again, if I had to bet, I would easily bet "yes" at this point.
And you'll certainly see the difference in the trading all of a sudden. Those same forces that could put that downside pressure (and certainly did) are all of a sudden your best friends in the market, supporting and pushing the stock up now that they have what they wanted.
Are the markets THAT dirty?? Oh, Hell yes. That, and a hundred times worse. You can't beat the game, but you can certainly recognize it and play along with it. Personally, I continue to think we're on the verge of a very interesting and profitable turning point for the share price. I've bought a little more in the past 2 days, and am now actually over-loaded in the stock. We'll see what comes.
