RE:RE:Monthly dividend

RE:RE:Monthly dividend I realize there is no "right" answer, but at this shareprice I prefer buybacks over dividends. Fully exercise the NCIB and dividends out of what is left. However, this dividend should give us a bigger immediate SP bump.

It is nice to be discussing which is the best way to be paid back :)

Share buybacks:

Over the course of the second quarter of 2022, Gear Energy purchased and cancelled a total of 3,638,600 shares at an average cost of $1.45 per share. Going forward, potential future purchases will be made subject to available free funds from operations and subject to certain strategic net asset value and debt-adjusted trading multiple thresholds. Given the increased allocation of free funds from operations to Gear Energy's monthly dividend, the number of shares repurchased through the rest of the year will likely be lower than amounts repurchased to date.

so this means more money towards monthly divi payments and less to share buy backs...

now that this is a monthly dividend payer, income investors will flock to it

I prefer this over share buy backs

I like this plan a lot
