Quite honestly speaking agriculture is among the worst energy consumption especially with the amounts of water needed for several items almonds require a huge amounts of water I am not sure about the energy consumption and cannabis too in which is extremely energy intensive to grow and cultivate. I know there will be people who don't like my saying this but again slaughterhouses release massive co2 so for there to be extreme and unjust prejudice to oil and gas is beyond me. Did I mention crypto. Stupid Trudeau needs to make policies that fairly and equally target all productions versus singling one out. I can't stand him on this and other political issues I went on length about. Trudeau should be sued actually for his unjust targeting the oil and gas sectors and causing it massive heart aches along with those who suffered when they needed help not heavy restrictions and chains. Again I am not an oil and gas person and sure I have a big enough stake here but if governments are going to be involved then be so objectively or not at all. I said the same about when solar was not getting its fair shake and ironically oil and gas was getting the privileges. I was a huge proponent of alternative energy and opponent of oil and gas over the years but when I saw and continue to see all the drawbacks with all energy I don't view them as being as clean as being touted. Again I strongly advocate to an impartial commission assessing all forms of energy from beginning of production to end and I am willing to bet there will be very little difference in their net effects. Government should be encouraging and funding initiatives like this not putting heavy restrictions on any sector which is trying to become cleaner. With such punishing restrictions it doesn't give oil and gas entities the ability to look into carbon capture technology all the while destroying a source which has been around and proven for a very long time. I again will bet in the end oil and gas is not anymore destructive then the rest and as with the rest should be given the initiative to keep environmentally improving their total production process. Throw Trudeau out and all the left leaders who are sold in a narrow green focus. Note I am not saying oil and gas as it is should be left that way but I am definitely saying it alone is not the culprit and demon as is being painted and there absolutely needs to be a very biased free impartial commission assessing and evaluating every possible energy source where they can properly speak from data and knowledge not idealisms. Only when this happens I strongly believe we can manage our energy issue and come up with a proper mix of all energy sources drawing once again on strength and complimenting the weaknesses. You may have a combination of sources which I think will keep being more and more utilized.
