Thanks, but no they would have to be the powers that be not the powers that strive to be to accomplish such a feat. The Theoria thing is interesting but he has no conceptual capacity to perceive anyone as being able to be moves ahead of him. With his intellectual pursuits and his chess champion status such would be an affront to an ego that would be packed for the journey he is on. Like many fairly intelligent people who can read the writing on the wall he is preparing for a departure from a present status quo and when one prepares for a departure they pack their belongings and that includes his ego. Preppers for seeing a SHTF on the horizon reduce to a basic reasoning capacity and the target is an independent realization of a provision capacity on the bottom end of a conceptualization such as that on the lowest level of Maslows hierarchy of needs. From such a focus concepts such as you can't eat silver or gold spring. I don't need an advanced species to tell me that. Gold is not a Twinkie and a Twinkie is not a hammer so a proper tool or item for a job or task. A house fly can tell me that a gold or silver coin is not food. Because they can land on my coins and fail to consume them does not cause me to conclude they are worthless and cast them into a waste basket. To contemplate being in a dire situation is one thing but one must also have the capacity to consider not wishing to remain at such a subsistence level. I don't mean to bore people but the bottom of Maslows pyramid is a place one may visit but not a destination and end in its self. That gold and silver have consistently a cross historic episodes of debasement risen to the task and challenge of the rebuilding  of failed systems of commerce/currency speaks well of them. And it is so across cultures lacking in electronic communication linkages. Sorry for rambling on and hopefully the forgoing makes sense but a comprehensive covering of the many things to be dealt with would be beyond my time allotment as things are.
