RE:RE:A big thank-you postersIt wasn't very long ago that the US got around to the very progressive move of allowing marijuana to cross State lines legally for the purpose of studying it and its benefits to society.
A little while before that they only had one University supply source of reputedly bad weed for the same purpose.
Barely scratched the surface of cannabinoids and their benefits to society as different strains with their own terpenes and phytos bring different reasons for consumption.
Claiming health benefits has been elevated to the level of proving up other pharma drugs with lots of testing and trials to prove any claims.
Knowledgable consumers have sorted out the worth of what they buy from experience to make their selection of the type of cannabinoid they prefer until some time when the potpreneurs can offer pharma grade proven product which interestingly enough, is sitting on shelves as recreational product.
Charlotte's Web comes to mind as one smart player went through the hoops to actually get a drug investigation number to sell as a pharma grade product. I am sure there are more to come for all the other ailments that consumers are using them for besides a pot buzz. Pain, anxiety, sleep, increased appetite and even weight loss are or have been explored by interested players.
My crystal ball is telling me that Constellation and Canopy are on the right track with beverages which are gaining ground against all of the smokeable products and Canopy has a shytload of them in anticipation of being a major player in cannabinoid beverages.
While the politicos and rest of society wrap their heads around the fact that this is a new alternate vice that is gaining ground and needs attention to put it on a level playing field with well established alcohol.
Somebody decided that alcohol and cannabis shouldn't be served or sold together which is a huge hurdle and a ridiculous notion that they need their own designated bars and lounges and retail outlets when beverage alcohol has an already set up system that doesn't need to be duplicated for pot consumers.
As far as sales of cannabinoids, the alcohol venues were already trained in screening out non-adults from purchasing alcohol so who better to let administer the sales and purchases of pot products.
