Deliveries

DeliveriesBombardier only has 1 to 4 deliveries in the first month of a quarter.  It's the same for all quarters.

I'm not an insider but I can imagine that there are economic quantities for the parts. They are not manufactured one or two a week on a regular basis but by bunch. So the production has to be planned by bunches too.

I view the low volume of deliveries in the first month as production discipline without planes left almost completed at the end of quarters (no deliveries in the first 2 weeks of a quarter). it's a sign that the production follow the planning.

That being said, the 50 deliveries of the first half of the year show that there a challenge to reach the 120 planned deliveries. Let's listen the management at the comference call.
