RE:Jethro may have a pulse! The heavy oil in Jethro and Joe would be a wild gamble. Unless they can get a relatively cheap platform it could be a tough sell to shareholders. I'd say $60-100 oil will be the new norm for the next couple years. The crude that exists there may be viable at those levels but I can't see a tie in with what I assume they will drill next.
the eastern most part of the block is the most prolific and least risky. It would appear Tullow is going to monetize part of its Kenyan assets which will provide a much needed cash infusion. This along with its merger should free up their ability to explore once again.
Id leave Jethro and Joe on the back burner until the better prospects in the block are proven.
