Now as to the elephants, there is no shortage of them in Namibia with an estimated 25,000. But they are mainly desert ones in the East and far from us.
For the most part they are pretty intelligent and get along well with the locals. Locals shoo them off easily from the watering holes when it is their turn to get water.
The big threat is the lions and crocs. So elephant conservation is a red herring by the environmentalists to bash Recaf since most everyone likes elephants. Expect more nonsense from the "environmentalists " as we get closer. But don't worry it is just hot air nonsense.
