Need to Quit Worrying About Short Term Swings

Need to Quit Worrying About Short Term SwingsI see a lot of commentary on this board about 2 and 3 dollar swings in this stock price. This not not a good candidate for short term trading. Buy it, collect your dividend and ignore the share price. Trying to figure out what moves the price a buck one way or the other on any particular day really is a mugs game. What I look at is the 6 month, 1 year and 5 year trends. Is the share price showing an upward trajectory, growing earnings and increasing dividends. You can easily answer yes for this stock. Is there any reason to expect that long term trend to reverse, NO. Buy, hold, don't check stock price every day, it will make you nutz. Sleep well.
