As long as the NCIB is the preferred method of returning capital to shareholders I don't expect share price increases to last for long. This is evident in many stocks regardless of their performance. I don't have a problem with this as they should buy back as cheaply as possible it's just the reality. Also why would company pay much of a dividend until share repurchases are complete?
