RE:Metso Equipment is arriving at Almonty’s Sangdong Mine

RE:Metso Equipment is arriving at Almonty’s Sangdong Mine; Here is the BIG part :-
There is no way that they would remove protective wrapping unless there is already a built support base structure for the mills, ie we have a concrete build that is done for this long ago without us knowing, but I did suspect this in other posts.
A strong concrete structure needs at least 30 days to cure to reach full strength.

Just looking at the people next to the half shells of Sag Mill parts it looks like a 7.5 to 8 Metre diameter Sag mill.
Sag mills are large in diamerter and run fast in rpm to drag the ore up to near top of the drum to then fall down and use the ore and rock to crush and grind without steel balls.
In the coal business we call this a "rotary breaker".

Metso would have received many Tonnes of raw ore from the mine over the years and to date to run through their own pilot plant facilities in Finland or Australia that they use on all projects to determine equipment sizes.

As for the mills motor sizes ?
In the old days (18 years ago) the mill motor sizes were as big as a small car and it was housed in a building the size of a one car garage with full air conditioning to cool it off.
Now days that has all changed thanks to new tech.
What was once a huge motor is now much smaller with in-built cooling as you can see in the new pics.

When it comes to mills I cant tell you the through-put rates based on motor sizes or even mill sizes, and a motor size does not come into that as a factor.
Crushers and screening rates are some thing I can provide.
