Good news but hold your horses....Finally....this is clearly good news but I'll remind you....not the idiots but the rational thinkers if there are any here....It's a long way yet from here to there. Nothing ever goes smoothly in mining and unfortunately you're up against the FED who is intent on sparking a global recession, entrenched inflation and the very real prospects of a significant new leg lower in stocks....one tailwind, many headwinds.
Housing is done for, China is done for, we will have a recession, copper demand will be soft, Gibraltar is junk
Florence is a great asset but it's several years away from steady state production and it will not go seamlessly...never does
If you can ride it out and take a 3 to 5 year time frame then I'd say buy some shares now....if you want to trade a bump on the news you can probably get 10 20% if the market holds up....if you think it's off to the races you're delusional
My best take....buy a small position and put it away for 4 or 5 years but be prepared for new lows too as the economy implodes under the FED boot....a 4% FED funds by year end will crush this massive debt bubble....when the "market" dumps hard again everything goes with it.
You can be like the imbeciles NOFLUFF and his butt buddy and high five each other in the treehouse club house while you jack if off to old stained playboy magazines but there's a lot of moving parts with the future Florence just one of them.
