Early days yet however i have been accumulating as much stock as i can afford.
The DD i have done so far is primarily based on past discoveries and Crescat Capitals information.
Once drill core news starts to come i believe this one will take off violently.
Just finished reading What ever happened to the Crow by Bob Majority, great read.
Bob states that owning shares in SGD is like haveing 7 or 8 juniour discoveries with good grade all in ine stock.
The targets that these guys have in there land package is incredible.
I your like me and have had mixed results investing with mining stocks over the years this is the one that can be a game changer.
Good Luck.
Yes I'm excited as well for our investment in Snowline Gold. I've witnessed some great stories in the past with big mineral discoveries. The huge Voiseys Bay nickel copper cobalt discovery in Labrador was one of the best with Diamond Fields DFR going from just a few dollars in 1993 to the equivalent of $168 a share (pre-split price) in 1996 when it was bought out by Inco (now Vale).
The stock split at $80 at 4 for 1 on the way up and traded back at $20 and Inco eventually paid around $43 for it or the equivalent of $172 without the split for around $4.5 billion dollars way back in the 90's. So in today's dollars it would be huge. The mineral value in the ground at the time was tens of billions of dollars which would be perhaps north of $100 billion in today's dollars. What an exciting time that was and the craziness afterwards with all the juniors surrounding the discovery with the staking rush.
Another one I witnessed was the Arequipa gold Perrina discovery in Peru that went from 80 cents where I got wind of it and it was quickly bought out by Barrick for $30 a share or around one billion dollars. I don't think they even had 30 drill holes in it when Barrick bought them out. I think that discovery went on to produce almost 15 million ounces of gold. I'm going by memory with all of this stuff but I know I'm close with the numbers because I traded them a bit but unfortunately I didn't have any big money to throw around back at that time. This time will be different for me if Snowline Gold gets bought out for $20 or $30 a share. I'll be a very happy camper. Lol
