RE:RE:Relaxation Time - Favorite Business MoviesI just watched the Hudsucker Scene on Youtube where the CEO jumped out the window.
My kind of flick :-) Gonna watch the whole show when time frees up.
Funny , I had never heard of the movie that I recall before TLV's mention.
Pretty much anything with Paul Newman works for me.
Loved Fort Apache - The Bronx, not the best film by industry standards, just loved the way Newman played the role, Hard drinking, divorced cop, trying to do what was right, as the fabric of society was fraying all around him, even his girl friend got caught up in the drug scene and died.
Same thing with "Nobodys Fool" Something about Newmans role as a small town flawed character that continually accomplishes nothing just resonates with me :-) I still laugh when I recall the scene about "Sully" , (Newmans character) being let out of jail to attend a funeral. Not the biggest scene of the movie, just stuck with me for some reason. Gotta love small towns :-)
At the risk of blathering on about movies I will leave you with a clip of one my all time favorite actors, James Garner, in one of my favorite scenes of "The Americanization of Emily". It is a super old (Black and white) movie that still resonates with me to this day. Lots of parallels to current global events. Some things never change.
Hope you guys like the scene:
