SGO.v reports promising channel sampling results. Sonoro Gold Corp (TSXV: SGO) has released positive results from an underground channel sampling program at its Cerro Caliche project in Mexico, which it says validates the firm's plans to develop a heap leach operation there.
The results provide important geological data from a 100-metre section at the south end of the Cabeza Blanca vein as it enters the El Colorado zone, and all the results, as well as more than 7,200m of new drilling data, will be included in an updated resource estimate.
Highlights from the channel sampling included 2m averaging 7.863 grams per ton (g/t) gold across the Cabeza Blanca vein, with 3.5 meters averaging 3.071 g/t gold.
SGO.v is currently trading at $.14, showing signs of consolidation at yearly lows. The company is presently valued at $19.5 million.
