RECAf or Aoiff, which should you buy?!?? Comparing RECAf to Luna is not the same as comparing apples to applies.
Recaf has no oil but sporting a mkt cap of $850 million vs. Africa Oil (Aoiff) $1.1 billion. RECAf is selling around $4.20 vs $2.45 for Aoiff. The former's stock historical high was around $13, same as the latter.
Aoiff discovered over 3 billion barrels of light conventional oil offshore Namibia through its Impact Oil partner. Impact is negotiating to sell its 20 percent interest for $509 million to $1 billion. Africa Oil also owned 25 percent of its Kenya oil interest. It originally owned 90 percent but farned off to JV's for US$425 million. It also owned SA oil concession that will be spud in Sept through Africa Energy and Eco Atlantic. It holds cash of $190 million with no debts. It pays dividends.
The only thing is I bought Africa Oil at $0.75 and told people to dump at $11 in its climb to $13. Similarly, a year ago, I told people to sell RECAf on its way to $13. I was proven right.
