Initial capital costs were pegged at $1.4 billion, with $2 billion budgeted for sustaining capital over the life of the mine. Giga's CEO is Martin Vydra who worked with S for decades. He ran their Moa operations and their Technologies group. Heard him speak at a couple of conferences. The guy knows his stuff.
