This is actually a VERY interesting development for the Cannabis Sector as I suspect a heavy presense of Naked Shorts hitting the Canadian Cannabis Companies.

Without Naked Shorting larger traders and Hedge Funds will not have ready access to shares to dump on the market and drive the shareprice down, trip stops and scare others into letting their shares go at deep losses.

It would be very difficult to determine how Hedge Funds will manage the change or what it will mean to day-traders and short-term traders however long term investors should (IMHO) hold to their timelines and look forward to US Legalization (assuming that is what most are waiting on).
