UEX to be delisted from TSX Aug. 24

2022-08-24 00:17 ET - Shares Delisted from TSX

The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that UEX Corp. will be delisted at the close on Aug. 24, 2022. According to the TSX, the delisting results from the acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding shares of the company by Uranium Energy Corp., pursuant to a plan of arrangement that was approved by UEX shareholders on Aug. 15, 2022.

The TSX reports that UEX shareholders are entitled to receive 0.09 share of Uranium Energy for each UEX share held. No fractional Uranium Energy shares will be issued in connection with the arrangement and any such fractional interest will be rounded down to the nearest whole number of Uranium Energy shares, with no consideration being paid for the fractional interest.
