Proving up our products for pharma quality
Proving up our products for pharma qualityis expensive to go through the hoops but I see pharma use being the bread and butter and rec use, the gravy.
There are a couple of potpreneurs that went to the expense and trials to get bona fide pharma use designations and they have done well.
The US has only recently cleared a path for companies that want to do trials and experimentation. Prior to this change you were restricted to one supplier which was a university that had the right to grow pot for companies to eak out what benefit they could be as new pharma drugs.
There are so many strains, splices and if you have something unique you can patent it.
Pot and hemp cannabinoids broke trail for other products that are showing promise like psilocybin and mescaline but they will have the same problems and hurdles as potpreneurs who are still operating in a negative atmosphere because of Fed laws that carry heavy penalties for posession or sale of cannabis.
That is what is keeping non US investors in marijuana's future from piling in and investing in US MSOs.
Consumers are hearing about good health benefits through the grapevine or word of mouth from patients that have long history and wisdom to share of medical properties that should be available to patients such as veterans.
Dropping or reducing the qualifiers to be able to claim cannabinoids as legit, bona fide pharmaceuticals won't happen but it is an unusual situation that you can buy the same product for rec use, probably cheaper than the pharmaceutical industry can provide it for but there are still reasons to earn the pharmaceutical qualifications.
It used to be CBD and THC but they are isolating several others that they are finding uses for and they are alsto getting away from combustibles in favour of edibles and drinkables with heavy dollar investments for cannabinoid infused beverages that they expect to displace a lot of the light alcohol offerings in favour of a healthier buzz or just an option to go to the bar and treat your rheumatism and socialize a little.
