It also owns the satellite Sue-Dianne copper-silver-gold deposit located 25 kilometers (km) north of the NICO Deposit and is a potential future source of incremental mill feed to extend the life of the NICO mill and concentrator. It also maintains the right to repurchase the Arctos anthracite coal deposits in northwest British Columbia. It also has a 100% interest in these 116 hectares of property south of Great Slave Lake with copper, silver, gold, lead and zinc showings. It has a 1% net smelter royalty covering 78 hectares of land positioned in a former silver mining district, located south of the Eldorado mining district at Great Bear Lake.

RE:Part that is glazed over

RE:Part that is glazed overre all mention Northern Ontario as the benefactor ... admittedly my research isn't exhaustive, but the only cobalt producing mine in this area is Glencore's Sudbury INO mine which in combination with their Quebec Raglan Mine produced a total of 1,100 t/y in 2021, all of which was refined in Norway, which does not have a FTA with the USA. The Raglan mine's life is being extended via an underground mine (Sivumut project) but not clear what the cobalt production rate will be. Another cobalt mining company in Canada is Vale which owns the Newfoundland Voisey's Bay mine. Last year they produced in the order of 2,600 t/y of cobalt, which seems to have been streamed to the likes of Anglo Pacific and Wheaton Precious Metals. As for Sherritt who produced 3,100 t/y cobalt, their ore comes from Cuba which does not have a FTA with USA. Not aware of any other mining project that could come online in the same time frame as Fortune's NICO deposit. If I've missed or misquoted data, my bad, apologies in advance.
