road APPLETON, N.L. — New Found Gold wants to do more seismic survey and trenching work to explore for minerals near Appleton, in central Newfoundland.
Before they can cut down trees or clear a 269-kilometre-long path, however, the company has to get approval from the province’s environment department.
According to documents filed with the department, the company wants to conduct a seismic survey over 48 square kilometres.
The path to access the survey area would be about two to three metres wide.
