RE:RE:OPEC in control You could be on to something there. One thing humans have in common with most other species is to use the resources at hand (including energy) to increase their numbers, lifespan, and comfort level. Banks on the other hand, while useful, are a much more recent afftectation.

Just like Apple would scale back production in a recession so should OPEC.
This is a new era I feel....COVID taught OPEC a valuable lesson.
As a result energy investors should now get what is deserved including strong balance sheets, buybacks and dividends.
Just like the banks.....and I would say energy companies provide FAR more value to the world than banks imo
