GoldSpot versus Hiseis technologiesGoldspot's Litholens core imaging technology applies new machine learning techniques to old core photos and video. The result is new insights and recommendations for future drilling success. Seismic is not part of the Goldspot process. Hiseis on the other hand creates an underground image akin to a 'cat' scan or an MRI that shows in 3D imaging exactly what the underground looks like. From these images geologists have a much clearer view of where to drill for success. So the two technologies are complementary not competitive.
Unlike Queensway North most of Queensway South is virgin territory. Other than sampling I'm not aware of drilling in the area, so Goldspot technology would have limited application there.
It takes about 6 months to do a seismic survey at a cost of several hundred thousand dollars.
