Forest access roads in the Miguel Lake area are now open. However, public access to areas beyond the fire line is still prohibited. That includes the specific area along Great Rattling River road from inside Whales Back to Louse Lake, known locally as 45 Road. The Bay d’Espoir Highway, or Route 360, continues to remain open to traffic.
