Seems to me that the world is moving towards dictatorship but we seem to be missing the "Englightened" part. Perhaps it is a lack of knowledge or insight or imagination on my part but when I look around the world these days, I don't see much if any in the way of enlightened leaders.
Anyone who could be an enlightened leader turns down the opportunity since the press will totally destroy them and their families. What we get and our current Prime Minister is a good example is illustrated by the difference between him and his Dad.
While I did not share PET's political views, I did admire the man as man of principle and one that had a vision of where the country should go and stuck to his principles. His son is not such a man - just the opposite.
You wonder what "Affordable housing" is. It is the building of slums and making slum landlords rich at taxpayer expense.
