The intended 200tpa graphene-Si production capacity, 2023 I am not sure whether many here realize just how sought after "advanced" 20% to 100% "loaded" Si anode battery materials are.
What's more, introducing graphene in proprietary and specific ways to the process of manufacturing graphene-Si anode battery materials, is something which Elon musk is seemingly avoiding the most serious discussion of.
However, unlike Elon Musk, I expect the people over at Hanwha Chemical, POSCO, Samsung Ventures, LG Chem, SK On, Panasonic, CATL, etc., are not at all avoiding the most serious discussion of and implementation of such advanced Si anode battery materials.
By the way, 200tpa production capacity of Si-graphene anode battery material is a heck of a lot more than enough to initially supply just the co-owned VoltaXplore "investment" enterprise.
We also note POSCO Chemical is a major Korea based producer of cathode active materials, "CAM", and that said company has a joint partnership agreement with General Motors Co. It's a joint partnership agreement which has the two companies building a Cathode active materials,"CAM", processing and manufacturing facility within Bcancour, Quebec, Canada.
Quebec, Canada is certainly where all the Korea based anode and cathode battery materials manufacturers and OEM battery cells manufacturers supplying companies want to be oerating as well.
