RE:RE:RE:Bloomberg Aug 31 - Still with supply chain issues - Steel I do agree with the both of you , left wing governments (Can/US) are doing nothing to help either Europe or their own economies . The German Chancellor comes to Can looking for LNG and drama boy offers Hydrogen some time in the future . Why people keep voting for economic pain is beyond me . Biden is so focused on the pump price that he is crippling US energy security .
On a side note , any guesses on what it NOW costs to charge a Tesla in Europe today ? Gasoline is still the better deal .
As to BSW's point , the Goldielocks talk continues , allowing the can to get kicked further down the road . Look at today , 3.3 million barrel draw , another large draw on gas , diesel was a push but inventory is 20% below the 5 yr average yet it was ignored . Saudi's are talking about production cuts because the paper market is being manipulated while Biden continues to push an Iranian deal . The same Iranians that have open contracts on Solomen Rashdi , Mike Pompeo and John Bolton . The same Iranians selling 100's of war drones to Russia to be used against the Ukraine . The same Iranians trying to build an atomic bomb ................. What am I missing , why would any responsible gov't deal with terrorists ?
Taiwan is shooting at Chinese drones , Libya and Iraq are falling apart but none of it matters on thin volume with blinders on . When the SPR ends the loss of those barrels will be a shock , Freeport will be ready to come back online and winter will be making its presence known , cheap gas will only encourage more demand . Political jawboning and biased media coverage can put up a smoke screen but they can't conjure up flowing barrels , the warning light is flashing and the market just drove past the last gas station for 100 miles .
This winter is going to be a new reality that many thought could never happen here , it is unbelievable but the sheep are walking into wolf territory . There will be a lot of people freezing in the dark when the music stops .
